Wednesday-late start---Work on 20 questions
*15 questions should be from the list I handed out and answered completely in whole sentences.
*5 questions should be specific (from your own mind) dealing with your particular job
**each question should be completely typed out and answered!!

Thursday---finish 20 questions
Friday---illegal questions examples, hand out grid for scoring interview, determine order

Week 6 (October 8-12)

Interactive Job Interview
Wednesday---Find 10 examples of illegal job interview questions and answer them as you may during interview
Thursday---hand out scoring guide, discuss, and practice interviewing each other

Week 7 (October 15-19)

Monday---1-page reaction paper based on an interview-related article found on the internet
*please print off the article and submit it with the reaction paper.

Paragraph I. Start out with the article title. Where did you find it? Do you trust its content? why? Explain what interested you about the topic enough to want to explore it further. Give a short synopsis of the author’s argument or viewpoint.

Paragraph II. This is the essential part of the paper where you offer a reaction to what the author has to say. Do you agree/disagree? Why? Does the author demonstrate any bias in the article? What did the author(s) do well? How could the article be improved upon? How do you feel about what was said?

Paragraph III. In this paragraph, I’m interested in whether or not you had prior knowledge of this topic or subject. If so, where did you come across your information? Does this article seem to agree with that prior knowledge? If no, in what way does it differ? If it does concur, does it offer any new insights?

Paragraph IV. This is your concluding paragraph. Overall, do you feel it was a worthwhile article to read? Why/why not? Do you feel better informed on the subject after reading the article? Do you think it was important that the article was written? Why/why not?
